Dysfunction is the only word that truly captures the state of politics in southeast Virginia. If we focus on cars and roads, we are doomed. If we maintain parochial turf-wars, we are doomed. We have a choice: we can embrace public transportation, or we can live in our cars as they are stuck in traffic for hours every day.
